Competitive Six Figure Package
Radioactive Waste Management Limited (RWM) has been established to deliver a geological disposal facility (GDF) and provide solutions for the management of radioactive waste. This represents a major multi-million pound national infrastructure programme. RWM is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority which is responsible under the Energy Act 2004, for the clean-up of the UK’s publicly owned civil nuclear legacy sites including the management of radioactive waste.
As part of the transition into delivering on RWM’s programme of activities, we are now searching for a Waste Management Director who will lead a team of professionals with specific responsibilities for providing waste management solutions to the nuclear industry.
With significant experience and a track record of managing a complex multi-disciplinary waste management portfolio preferably in a highly regulated and safety critical industry, you will deliver a wide range of strategic and functional solutions to ensure that national waste being retrieved and packaged today is safe and suitable for its long term management including future disposal in a GDF.
