Organisation: Radioactive Waste Management Limited
Creating a safer future by managing radioactive waste effectively, to protect people and the environment.
Radioactive Waste Management Limited (RWM) has been established to deliver a geological disposal facility (GDF) and provide solutions for the management of radioactive waste. This represents a major multi-billion pound national infrastructure programme. RWM is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority which is responsible under the Energy Act 2004, for the clean-up of the UK’s publicly owned civil nuclear legacy sites including the management of radioactive waste.
As part of the transition into delivering on RWM’s programme of activities, we are now seeking a Head of Site Evaluation. As Head of Site Evaluation, you will lead and implement the site evaluation programme for the Geological Disposal Facility. With relevant technical and project leadership in the evaluation of sites for major infrastructure projects, you will bring outstanding experience in the generation and analysis of information to support decision-making regarding the GDF, assessing the feasibility of the site selection process and ascertaining risks and viability.
