Radioactive Waste Management Limited (RWM) has been established to deliver a geological disposal facility (GDF) and provide solutions for the management of radioactive waste. This represents a major multi-million pound national infrastructure programme. RWM is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority which is responsible under the Energy Act 2004, for the clean-up of the UK’s civil nuclear legacy sites including the management of radioactive waste.
As part of this challenging programme, we require a Business Services Director to lead a team of professionals providing cross cutting services across a number of disciplines in support of RWM’s business goals and strategic objectives, comprising of Human Resources and Organisational Development, Legal, Finance, Commercial and Procurement, Information Governance and Knowledge Management and Corporate Communications.
With significant experience of managing a complex corporate portfolio, underpinned by outstanding organisational development, commercial, legal and financial acumen, you will bring a wide breadth of knowledge to ensure RWM has the capability to deliver its programmes now and in the future. You will deliver the right systems, operating models and ensure strategic partnerships are in place to enable us to reach the highest standards of organisational excellence, whilst, ensuring our corporate values are at the heart of everything we do. As a member of RWM’s Executive team, you will play a key part in the successful leadership of the organisation.
