As Group Finance Director, your leadership and commercial acumen will help to lead a highly motivated workforce in shaping a future that builds on our strengths. With a background and experience of transitioning organisations through either mergers and acquisitions or major transformational change, you will create a commercial focus for delivering new and improved services in the context of a fast-paced changing Borough.
Supporting the Chief Executive, in ensuring the Company achieves its objectives and delivers on its commitments, you will be accountable for the financial management and administration of the company, ensuring its systems and processes are fit for purpose. This will not be a small endeavour - you will be dealing with large, complex deals and working closely with the Board, Councillors, and the wider Council to deliver services for the Borough.
