Radioactive Waste Management Limited (RWM) is the company created by the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority to deliver a Geological Disposal Facility (GDF) for higher radioactive waste and to provide solutions for the management of radioactive waste. The GDF is a major multi-billion pound national infrastructure project and RWM, as the developer, is committed to working in partnership with communities for its delivery.
RWM is now looking to appoint two additional Independent Non-Executive Directors. One with a track record of leadership and achievement in the delivery of significant major infrastructure projects involving communities and one with extensive experience of assurance and risk management. Both appointments require the ability to work at a strategic level in a complex stakeholder environment and to contribute to the evolution of strategy and the evaluation of performance.
The company and the GDF project are at exciting points in their development and these roles provide opportunities to contribute to the delivery of a nationally important project.
Closing date for applications is Monday 14th May 2018
