potential development, and their training services focus on areas such as
mindfulness, social & emotional intelligence, leadership, and
communication. These service offerings
are made available to corporate organisations, learning institutions and
individuals to enhance their productivity, and Firstworld Ventures partners
with leading companies in these fields which are largely based in the UK and
the USA to enable the provision of these training services to organisations in the
UK, in other developed markets, in Nigeria and in the wider West Africa region.
The company also offers ancillary
service offerings which include human potential development seminars and
workshops targeted at the public; and summer holiday camps.
Following a decision to drive the growth of Firstworld Ventures, there is a need for a Business Manager to support the business with regard to their engagement with partner organisations and acquisition of customers, to ensure the fulfilment of its business plan and to support the work of their sister business First World Communities in Nigeria. You will provide executive, administrative, and development support to the Chief Executive and Board of Directors. You will be the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the company; maintain the CEO’s diary, organise and coordinate executive outreach and external relations efforts; and oversee special projects.
You will have hands-on experience of office management including using technology systems to aid administration, communications, and procurement; demonstrable good customer service and relationship management skills with ideally some experience of sales support; and an ability to be self-starting and to operate in an early stage business environment.
The position is full-time and you can be based at your home or at an office base in Pinner, North London.
