Our client is a USA headquartered business that operates across Africa and Asia and that supports national and state governments by creating powerful technology-enabled education systems. They are an education expert and leader in learning and have unequalled experience in dramatically transforming educational outcomes at speed and at scale. They treat education as a science, and they have an unprecedented ability to gather and apply data-driven learning improvements across every aspect of the education system. They have demonstrated success in their various operations in a number of African countries.
They are hiring to a new role – Vice President Partnerships – to work across Africa. The role is about leading on business development with national and state governments in what a solutions-selling role with long sales processes as they are introducing a new approach to education involving technology, artificial intelligence, schools management, teacher training and education curriculum development hubs. The individual will collaborate with teams in Africa to drive the engagement with prospective clients in crafting solutions.
You will be well versed in engaging with the public sector in solutions-selling, and ideally will have considerable experience in more than one country in Africa. With an affinity with presenting a multi-faceted suite of offerings involving technology, you will come from client engagement and business development roles in technology product and implementation companies, or in professional services firms, or in management consultancies.
You will be based in any location that enables you to travel as required across Africa, combing this with virtual working.
