Not for Profit

Not for profit organisations are increasingly diverse, both in their objectives and in their operations. Changes in public policy, new funding mechanisms and innovative partnerships mean that the role of the not for profit sector is expanding into service delivery and strategic advice. Political, economic and demographic shifts are only likely to increase this diversification and potential. At the same time, however, increased competition for resources presents many in the sector with difficult challenges.

Robust, commercially aware and innovative leadership – that remains committed to core values in the face of change – is at a premium. As many charities become involved in the direct delivery of public services there is also the issue of how to balance this with an independent voice.

Rockpools' insight and networks encompasses national, multi-service charities, co-operatives, advocacy and welfare, campaigning, think tanks, social enterprises, political parties, local community organisations and religious bodies.  Our team also has hands-on expertise from previous careers in the sector and current non-executive roles.
